• Wine preferences: tastes, ratings, notes, favorites, and pairing history.
• Usage data: pages viewed, pairings requested, features used.
• Billing info: handled by our payment provider. We never see your full card number.

2. How We Use It

• To personalize your wine recommendations.
• To run the service (authentication, billing, support).
• To improve Oenvy (aggregate analytics, never individually identified).
• To contact you about account issues or meaningful product updates.

3. What We Don't Do

• We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.
• We do not show you ads inside Oenvy.
• We do not track you across other websites.

4. Where Your Data Lives

Your data is stored in a managed Postgres service that hosts our database in a secure US-based region. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

5. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies, strictly for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct any information that's wrong.
• Delete your account and associated data.

7. GDPR and CCPA

If you're in the EU/EEA or California, you have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA. We honor deletion, access, and portability requests within 30 days. California residents specifically have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion at no cost.

8. Children

Oenvy is not intended for anyone under the legal drinking age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

When we make material changes to this policy, we'll notify you by email and update the date at the top. Minor editorial changes may happen without notice.
